The response letter, along with its appendices, was completed yesterday. However, after Encik Rosli met with the higher management to present and discuss the response letter, several amendments were required. These changes were mainly due to the removal of certain appendices that were considered irrelevant or unnecessary to be included. I was prepared to assist in completing the required amendments for the appendices, and I was given the trust by the unit to handle the tagging and arrangement of the appendices, which will later be attached to the letter. We managed to complete the task within the day and successfully finalized the full report to be distributed to the relevant officers after going through several rounds of amendments and checking.
As for the system development, I encountered an issue with MySQL, which was loading very slowly. After several attempts of restarting and debugging, I decided to reinstall XAMPP, and fortunately, I managed to resolve the issue and continue with the system development. I have managed to include and organize the main tasks and subtasks, however, the arrangement and overall appearance of the system are still not very appealing. Therefore, I plan to further improve the design of the system.
Through today’s tasks, I gained a deeper understanding of the importance of accuracy and relevance in preparing official documents, especially when handling response letters and appendices. The amendments required after the discussion with higher management showed me that every detail matters, and unnecessary information should be carefully filtered to ensure clarity and professionalism. I also learned the importance of being flexible and ready to make changes even after a task is initially completed. Being entrusted to handle the tagging and arrangement of the appendices has increased my confidence and sense of responsibility in managing important documents. It also improved my attention to detail and organizational skills, as proper structuring is crucial for easy reference and understanding.
On the technical side, the issue faced with MySQL taught me the importance of patience and problem-solving skills. Instead of giving up, I explored different solutions such as restarting, debugging, and eventually reinstalling XAMPP, which helped me resolve the issue. This experience has improved my troubleshooting skills and made me more confident in handling technical challenges in the future. Overall, I realized that both documentation work and system development require not only technical knowledge but also careful planning, adaptability, and continuous improvement, especially in terms of system design and user experience.
