Today, I continued refining and improving the system, focusing on completing its development as efficiently as possible while ensuring that it functions properly, meets the required objectives, and can be used effectively by its intended users. Day 36: System Function Testing and Improvement

Today, I proceeded with the testing of the developed system from both the audit staff and auditee perspectives to ensure that the functions, data flow, and navigation between pages operate smoothly and according to the intended process. The testing process included checking the login functions, submission and display of information, communication flow between users, and the accessibility of the system features from different user roles. During the testing process, several minor issues and inconsistencies were identified and reviewed for further improvement. Day 35: Interface Improvement and System Flow Discussion

Today, I decided to redesign the interface and overall appearance of the system to make it look more professional and more suitable for a government-based system. The previous green colour theme was changed to a greyish-blue theme to create a cleaner and more professional interface. Besides that, the audit staff and I discussed the dashboard again to ensure that I fully understood their requirements and expectations in developing the system, as well as to clarify the overall flow of the system. Day 34 : User Function Testing

Today, I focused on completing the development of the system, and for now, all the main pages have been successfully completed. However, further testing still needs to be conducted to ensure a smooth flow of data within the system, proper interaction between pages, and ease of use for users. Besides that, I also focused on checking the process of data insertion and verifying whether the data is displayed correctly and accurately within the system. Several tests will be conducted from both the staff and auditee perspectives to ensure that the functions, navigation flow, and information display operate properly according to the intended process. I continued working on the E-Audit system to further complete it as a fully functional system. The audit staff also checked on the progress of the system, and I presented the current development to them while asking for their feedback and opinions regarding certain features and the overall functionality of the system. Several suggestions and improvements were proposed, which I have taken note of for further enhancement of the system. These include the use of a dropdown list for internal units to facilitate general questions that may be submitted by auditees, as well as improvements to the overall design and colour scheme of the system to create a more professional and clean appearance. Today, I continued testing the developed pages and functions of the system to ensure the smooth flow of data, proper functionality, and accurate display of information. Besides that, I also worked on improving the design and interface of the system to create a more organised and user-friendly dashboard. For now, I have developed several pages for handling the data flow of the system as well as the internal communication between the audit staff and the auditees. The developed pages include functions for managing and displaying information, handling communication processes, and ensuring that the related data can be accessed and updated properly within the system. Day 30: Dashboard Progress and System Feature Expansion

As for now, I have successfully developed the main dashboard that will be accessible to the public. I will continue developing the pages for handling and managing the data to be displayed on the dashboard between the audit staff and the auditees. I also presented the current progress to one of the unit members and received feedback regarding the system. Besides that, there have been additional feature requests for the dashboard, including functions for the public or auditees to submit questions to the audit unit, a page to display the submitted questions together with the responses, and a page to display the latest related documents or amendments to Treasury Circulars and other documents related to auditing. I began developing the dashboard by focusing on the pages that can be accessed by the public, including the page flow, display of data, and interface design. I also planned the arrangement of the information to ensure that the dashboard is user-friendly, organised, and easy to navigate for users. Besides that, I worked on ensuring that the displayed data is relevant and presented clearly to help users better understand the status and information related to the audit process and information. I also referred to several existing dashboard and audit-related websites as references for the interface layout and content arrangement to improve the overall design and functionality of the system. Day 28: E-Audit Module Planning and Dashboard Development Discussion

For today, I discussed the system and dashboard once again together with other unit members. Since the system was initially prepared for the internal use of the unit, it includes several different functions such as the display of audit work scheduling using a Gantt chart with input spaces, links to reports from the National Audit Department , procedures for conducting audits, and a framework for generating internal audit reports. Based on the discussions, explanations, and clarifications, as well as the preparation of activities for the Raja Muda as mentioned in the previous logbook, we agreed to use one of the modules for the presentation as part of the unit’s activity, as the complete system would be too extensive to cover during the proposed activity and presentation. Today, my supervisor asked about the dashboard of the system and the type of information that is usually displayed on it. He suggested that for the audit scheduling system, the integration of external report sources, such as reports from the National Audit Department , could be displayed on the dashboard for reference purposes and to provide ideas for future audit work titles. These reports could also serve as references for audit report writing content. Besides that, the communication process between the audit unit and the auditee was also proposed to be included in the system. For example, once an audit is conducted, the audit unit can send questions to the auditee for feedback, and once the responses are received, the answers can be accessed directly through the system. Today, after revising the formats of various internal audit reports, several questions arose regarding the information that should and should not be included, the level of detail required, as well as the arrangement of the subtitles and report content. To gain a clearer understanding, I consulted the supervisor and was given a detailed explanation regarding these matters. Through the discussion, I learned that different audit scopes and types of auditees will affect the audit report produced, including the extent of information disclosed. After that, I had the opportunity to read the full audit report of the case handled by the audit unit, which I mentioned in Day 20 of the logbook. From the report, we discussed ways to integrate the report-writing process into the system. The plan is to include a framework or guideline for report writing within the system to assist the unit in preparing audit reports for future audit purposes. I started the new week by reviewing the audit scheduling system before continuing with the presentation to the supervisor to demonstrate the current condition of the system, along with the added enhancements that have been made.
