I continued working on the E-Audit system to further complete it as a fully functional system. The audit staff also checked on the progress of the system, and I presented the current development to them while asking for their feedback and opinions regarding certain features and the overall functionality of the system.
Several suggestions and improvements were proposed, which I have taken note of for further enhancement of the system. These include the use of a dropdown list for internal units to facilitate general questions that may be submitted by auditees, as well as improvements to the overall design and colour scheme of the system to create a more professional and clean appearance. Additionally, the feedback session helped provide a clearer understanding of the users’ needs and expectations towards the functionality and usability of the system.
From today’s tasks, I gained valuable experience in receiving and analysing user feedback during the system development process. By presenting the current progress of the E-Audit system to the audit staff, I learned the importance of considering users’ opinions and suggestions to ensure that the system meets practical needs and expectations.
In addition, the feedback regarding the dropdown function, interface design, and colour scheme helped me realise that usability and visual presentation are important elements in developing a professional and user-friendly system. This experience also improved my communication skills, especially in discussing system functionalities and gathering input for future improvements.
Overall, today’s activities enhanced my understanding of user-centred system development and strengthened my ability to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of the system through feedback and collaboration.
